Bug#613212: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Intermittent Screen Lockup on Intel 845G Graphics Chipset

Hi,

Thanks for coming back to me so quickly!

I'll try the "fbdev" driver on the machine in question this coming week and will
send an update.

If I can't get a high enough screen resolution (the monitor is 1680*1050) or if
the performance is particularly poor, I'm prepared to work with someone to dig
deeper into this; be it reporting the bug upstream or passing on of logs, etc.

Let me know if anything else is required on this.

Cheers!

probably hung GPU, which you could check by looking into kernel logs.
