Bug#613078: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau: corrupted graphics on GeForce 6150SE nForce 430
* Sven Joachim <svenjoac@gmx.de>, 2011-02-12, 18:43:
Package: xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
Version: 1:0.0.16+git20101210+8bb8231-2
Did the version in squeeze work better?
Squeeze version worked fine (with squeeze kernel).
If so, this might be related to
https://bugs.freedesktop.org//show_bug.cgi?id=33887.

This might be a kernel bug after all, see also
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/711591.
Sounds plausible; on the other hand his screen is much more messed than mine.
You could try an older kernel, say 2.6.36 from snapshots.debian.org.
The problem remains with linux-image-2.6.36-trunk-amd64
2.6.36-1~experimental.1.
