Package: libgl1-mesa-dri
Version: 7.5.1-1
Severity: important

Hi,

I have a Matrox Millennium G400 card. I am experiencing serious display
problems with some 3d applications. For example, when I start blender,
there are a number of artifacts/triangles/etc in various places,
especially the menus. I've attached a screenshot to this report.
Stellarium is another program I've found that has serious problems
displaying. And I don't believe the problem lies with those programs,
because both of them work fine on another computer with Intel graphics.

I am currently running up-to-date testing. Kernel is 2.6.30
(linux-image-2.6.30-1-686). I tried two older kernels
(linux-image-2.6.22-3-vserver-k7 and also
linux-image-2.6.26-2-vserver-686) but that made no difference. Mesa is
currently at 7.5.1-1, and when I tried the newer 7.6-1 from unstable
that didn't make any difference either.

Setting LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 causes blender to display with fewer
artifacts, but still is not completely right. Perhaps that's a separate
bug, I don't know. Anyway, I can make a screenshot of that if it would
be helpful.

I have no xorg.conf, but I have attached my Xorg.0.log. Output of lspci
-v is below.

Let me know if there are any more questions, or if there is anything
else I can do to help.

Thanks,
James Dietrich
