Package: base Severity: important I have attached dual wide screen monitors to my GeForce 9600GT graphics card. After installation of Debian the PC reboots and instead of GDM appearing I simply get a blank black screen. Cntrl-Alt-Fx does not respond either. I have discovered that disconnecting the second display does allow X (upon reboot) to start normally, and the system is quite usable with a single screen. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash
