Package: xserver-xfbdev Version: 2:1.7.5-1 Severity: wishlist I did a quick rebuild of xserver-xfbdev with --enable-tslib and it seems to be working fine. Could it be enabled in the Debian package? Hi John, John Bloom <johnxx@gmail.com> (13/03/2010): > I did a quick rebuild of xserver-xfbdev with --enable-tslib and it > seems to be working fine. Could it be enabled in the Debian package? > Thank you. you could have specified what you're trying to achieve. Googling for it, I found that patch upstream: http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-devel/2010-July/010983.html So, that's basically asking for my enabling an unmaintained feature, which might disappear anytime soon. That's too late for squeeze, and I probably won't do that for 1.9.x either, so I'm just closing this bug report. If you absolutely need it, talk to upstream, and get working on it, see for example these messages (in the same thread): http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-devel/2010-July/011009.html http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-devel/2010-July/010993.html KiBi.Attachment: signature.asc
