Bug#14878: marked as done (xserver-xorg-core: should put socket files in /var/run, not /tmp)

regarding xserver-xorg-core: should put socket files in /var/run, not /tmp

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.

Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

 I think that the unix-domain sockets created by the X server belong in
 /var/tmp, rather than /tmp, according to the FHS, since they are around for a while
 without change in their atime.  Please tell me if I'm wrong, and why, if so. :-)


 Also, where can I read about those sockets and the /tmp/.X?-lock files?

Indeed, same reasons as in #10752, closing this bug report. No point
in keeping it open.
