Hmm, X log doesn't say much; maybe running X inside gdb from a remote machine would help spot what happens when it gets terminated. Maybe you have the X log of the crash somewhere as a first clue? You may want to try 2.12 from sid or 2.13 from experimental (with sid's kernel) and report back. Mraw, KiBi.
