Hi Andres,

Sorry for the long waiting, I had to fetch the Radeon 3450.

So in short: *Yes it now works :-)*

Long (in case it helps somebody else)
- using up to date Sid (also last time)
- Kernel: linux-image-2.6.32-4-amd64   2.6.32-11
- Driver: xserver-xorg-video-radeon    1:6.13.0-1
- resolution 2560x1600 (dual link DVI connection)
- Setting: (as you said):
   *radeon* in /etc/modules
   *options radeon modeset=1* in /etc/modprobe.d/radeon-kms.conf (in fact was already existing)
- attached dmesg & Xorg.0.log
- I can stop using nvidia binary driver which requires rebuilding at each kernel change (but worked well) :-)
- we can close this bug.
