Package: xnest Version: 4.1.0-17 Severity: normal Hello Branden, I am not able to use recent version of Xnest without disabling the authorisation (-ac). Using as usual (Xnest :1 and xterm -display :1) I get... I may miss something, but this thing must be documented. Neither the manpage, nor the Debian documentation has hints for a such problem. I do not think that this is a local missconfiguration issue, Xnest did work fine some months ago and I did not change much things. Reuben Thomas <rrt@sc3d.org> (24/01/2007): > OK, now I can see a question about Xnest, and it says I should use > xephyr. OK, I try that, but I get exactly the same problem. Now I > read the question, and it tells me what to do. And the script works. Hello, just installed xserver-xephyr, and: $ Xephyr :1 then in another terminal: $ xterm -display :1 or: $ DISPLAY=:1 xterm just works. Same thing with xnest. There's just nothing to do, it works out of the box. Closing this bugreport. Mraw, KiBi.Attachment: signature.asc
