Bug#575415: Xorg Log Files
Attempts to start X without an xorg.conf result in a locked system and Xorg.0.log file(s) 10's of megabytes in size.
Until I can get the file chopped down to something useful, this is what's repeated. It fills most of the file.
If I disable glx, X start fine, no acceleration.
