Bug#563277: xbacklight: upgrade from 1.1 to 1.1.1 to work with new name for Backlight property
Package: xbacklight
Version: 1.1-1
Severity: normal
The current version of xbacklight (1.1) looks for the xrandr property
called "BACKLIGHT". Some new video drivers (e.g., radeonhd 1.3.0)
are now calling that property "Backlight", and the current xbacklight
reports "No outputs have backlight property".
The newest version of xbacklight (1.1.1) looks for the property under
both names (according to the git changelog [1]). Can we upgrade the
Debian package?
Also, version 1.1.1 corrects bug #509306.
Thanks,
Michael
