Package: x11-xkb-utils
Version: 7.4+1
Severity: normal

When I use the setxkbmap command i get the following error: Error loading new keyboard description. Looking for into the log$
X server and gdm daemon, it reports that the xkbcomp command is not found. In fact, this command is not listed under /usr/bi$
although in the information of package, this command is provided. However, executing dpkg -L x11-xkb-utils, i get:

jpromerobx@obiwan:~$ dpkg -L x11-xkb-utils

/usr/bin/setxkbmap
/usr/bin/xkbbell
/usr/bin/xkbevd
/usr/bin/xkbprint
/usr/bin/xkbvleds
/usr/bin/xkbwatch

The command is not present. To solve this bug in my Debian system, i've dowloaded the same package from repo, and adding the$
file xkbcomp in /usr/bin

The file is still there on recent version, so I'm just closing this
