Oh, okay, so this is already possible. I thought it needs 
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d to place those snippets in.

Well okay, I might revisit this in the next week. Still X.org shouldn't 
crash with my manual configuration. I am not sure whether its related to my 
manual configuration at all in the moment. I could move xorg.conf out of 
the way to have a try.
