Package: xterm
Version: 6.8.2.dfsg.1-9
Severity: normal

I just discovered that xterm has xft support.
     apt-get install ttf-bitstream-vera
xterm -fa "Bitstream Vera Sans Mono" -fs 9
looks great! I wish I discovered that earlier.

Small problem with this font: under gnome, after switching between
workspaces, the xterm which is "on top" of the new workspace looks empty,
its contents is not redrawn. (If the xterm is in the middle of the screen and
gets partially covered by the workspace switcher mini-window then it is redrawn)
Best regards,
Meik
