Bug#599812: Chrome causing segfault in Xorg

Followup:
This also affected Chromium; which was not just updated and worked before.
After a reboot, the given page works again in Chromium.

So the Backtrace may be triggered by a separate cause:
[ 7207.128086] [drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed] *ERROR* Hangcheck timer elapsed... GPU hung
[ 7207.130257] [drm:i915_do_wait_request] *ERROR* i915_do_wait_request returns -5 (awaiting 493659 at 493656)

such as an earlier GPU hang. Maybe disabling acceleration after a GPU hang is not working right in the intel driver, though.
Chrome is known to use graphics acceleration, and maybe there is a "dri disabled" check missing somewhere.

Regards,
Erich
