Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Version: 2:2.12.0+legacy1-1
Severity: normal

Hi there,

ever since the moment I upgraded to the +legacy version of the Intel
driver package, my X11 would sometimes get into a weird state where
message box text would be the wrong color, my panel would stop updating
and terminals would only partially update. Before that, life was perfect
for a few weeks with 2.12.0.

AFAICT, this change has come about at the same moment as the +legacy
driver got installed. I would like to revert to pure 2.12.0 to confirm,
but don't know how.

Andreas

In any case, we're done with the legacy experiment, so I'm closing
this bug, see 2.12+shadow in sid, and 2.13 in experimental, to be used
with sid's kernel. Details about versions are available in:
  http://ikibiki.org/blog/2010/10/02/October-X-update/

Thanks for your report anyway.

Mraw,
KiBi.
