Can you test with more recent version ?
1:0.2.904+svn827-1 is currently in both testing and unstable.

Also do you have an other computer, so you can connect via ssh to the
failing one and get some more info? Like the content of
/var/log/Xorg.0.log after the crash, as I suspect the one you send with
your bugreport comes from a working session with version 
1:0.2.902+svn579-4

The easiest in probably to launch bugreport again from the ssh
connection and to add more info to this bug.
