Bug#591669: x11-apps: [xclock] Processes negative geometry offset values incorrectly
Package: x11-apps
Version: 7.5+5
Severity: normal
When starting up xclock with negative offsets to the geometry option, e.g.
xclock -geometry 120x240+-10+-10
xclock opens the window in the center of the display rather than offset left and up
by 10 (pixels). This format for the geometry value might easily be output from
a xwininfo execution.
The X man page states for +XOFF:
XOFF may be negative, in which case the window's left edge will be off the screen.
And similarly for YOFF.
