Since the recent Xorg upgrade (in unstable) the X server crashes when
gnome-screensaver blanks the screen.

That bug is reported fixed, and iirc the fix was backported to 1.7.x, so
I'll close this report.  If you can still reproduce feel free to reopen
with new logs and if possible gdb backtrace.
