The symptoms look like https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14933 or https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14141, which should both be fixed now. The downside is that the freezes do not leave any traces in any logs, so I have absolutely no idea why they occur. =( The above mentioned bugs did.
