X.org cannot be started on this system. I use ATi Rage Orion for Mac videocard, which contains non-standard V_BIOS.
Without specifying 'video=ofonly' as kernel boot arg, I'm getting absolutely blank black screen after "Starting GNOME display manager..." message.
With 'video=ofonly', I'm getting ncurses dialog "would you like to look at Xorg log", which after that returns me to plain tty.
strace Xorg (will post it lately) tells: "(II) R128(O): Bad V_BIOS checksum" and then SIGBUS (Bus error).
