Bug#568236: udev rules [Was: xserver-xorg-input-wacom: Not fixed for me]
Package: xserver-xorg-input-wacom
Version: 0.10.3+20100109-1
Severity: normal
I couldn't tell you why, but adding the udev rules mentioned at the end
of <http://forum.nginx.org/read.php?31,49338,50520#msg-50520>, allowed
my tc1100 (serial) pen to work with the updated Debian packages
(xorg-server (2:1.7.5.902-1)) (without the rules, the pen would not work,
even with the updated xorg-server packages).
I placed the rules in /etc/udev/rules.d/69-xorg-wacom.rules , and they
were:
ACTION=="add|change", SUBSYSTEM=="pnp", ATTR{id}=="WACf*", ENV{NAME}="Serial Wacom Tablet"
ACTION=="add|change", SUBSYSTEMS=="pnp", ATTRS{id}=="WACf*", ENV{x11_driver}="wacom", ENV{ID_INPUT}="1", ENV{ID_INPUT_TABLET}="1"
