Please use a recent kernel, like 2.6.32-4-$arch from unstable, that one is largely outdated and full of known bugs, some of them being fixed already. Can we get full X log and dmesg from a KMS session, please? You could also preventively install debug packages and attach gdb to the X process through ssh. Mraw, KiBi.
