Does Debian 6.12.4 radeon package help?

Nope, don't think so, I'm on 6.12.6 and the bug is still there...

I managed to solve the issue by editing my xorg.conf and adding these:
Option "DRI" "False"
Option "AGPMode" "1"

No more blank screens for me :-)
