dmesg shows 7MB stolen ram
change this in the bios "under video settings " to at least 32MB
Max allowed "shared/stolen ram" is best
But I think that 7M is not enough ....
anyway, changing video ram is easy enough to test.....

Unfortunately, there isn't such option in the BIOS (HP dc7700p).

Nothing to adjust video memory size or something related.
