Package: xserver-xorg-input-kbd
Version: 1:1.2.0-1+1.2.1
Severity: important

With my ASUStek M2N motherboard, I have a very strange problem when I'm
on X.
When typing, frecuently there is a 'lag' (a little delay before keys
marked on the screen) and then a key/character is repeated between 5 or 10 times.

I don't know if it's really clear, so here is a text typed normally with
no correction after:

<text>
lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. sed non risus.
suspendisse lectus toooooooortori, dignissim sit amet,
adipppppppppusicing nec, ultricies sed, dolor. Cras elementum ultrices
diam. Maeccccccccccenas ligula massa, varius a, semper congue, euismod
non, mi. Proiiiiiiin portititor, ocri nec nonummy molestie, enim est
eleifend mi, non fermentum diam nisl sit amet erat. Duis semper. Duis
arcu massa, scelerisque vvvvvvvitae, consequat in, pretium a, enim.
Pellentessssssssque congue. Ut in risus volutpat libero pharetra tempor.
Cras vestibulum bibendum augue. Praesent egestas leo in pede. Praesent
blandit odio eu enim. Pellentesque sssssssed dui ut augue blandit
sodales. Vestibulum ante ipsum prmis in faucibus orci luctus et ultrices
posuere cubilia Curae; Aliquam nibh. Mauris ac mauris sed pede
pellentesque fermentum. Maecenas adispiscing ante non diam sodales
hendrerit.
</text>

No need to say that it's terribly annoying and any office or mail work
becomes an adventure!

I think this bug is related to this package because:
- i have no problem when I'm typing on a pseudoterminal
- i have tested to launch X with no desktop environment (no gnome, no
  kde) only a xterm, and the problem is the same.

I am open to make more advanced tests to help correct this, but I don't
know which ones.
