Package: xserver-xorg-video-vesa
Severity: important

I just tried to help someone on irc with that chipset. From what he said
I understood that his whole system crashes as soon as the xserver quits.
His initial problem description was "my laptop doesn't swtch off when I
shut it down".
In ubuntu the bug is #163192. The xserver-xorg-video-via package didn't
work for him at all (lenny). Unfortunately he left shortly before he
could try the openchrome package from ubuntu's universe rebuilt for
lenny. But I'd expect that to work.

Thanks. Jonas
