There was no question about DontZap, even though debconf priority was set to low. Looking at another PC I have manually fixed /etc/default/keyboard by adding a line XKBOPTIONS="terminate:ctrl_alt_bksp" This did the trick. But AFAICS this is _very_ hard to find. xorg.conf(5) doesn't mention it at all. Regards Harri
