Hi Brice - I'm sure you gave valid information when closing this bug report, but a link to a discussion or announcement explaining changes would be nice. Knowing that a udev rule should be/is being used instead of an fdi file is helpful but leaves a lot of questions.
From the number of bugs being filed against this package right now it seems there is a lot of confusion, can you provide any resource for appropriate configuration of devices using this "driver" via udev rules?
In my case I had been using HAL exclusively, with no xorg.conf file at all.
