I see that /usr/bin/xterm from Debian's package does not (doing a strings on
the binary); that indicates a problem with the Debian package, since the
check's against a roughly 10-year-old feature.
Right, configure doesn't use XkbBell in the debian build because the
package doesn't build-depend on libxkbfile-dev (which provides
<X11/extensions/XKBbells.h>). I'll try to remember to fix that.
