Assuming you're using xserver-xorg-video-intel 2.8.0 from sid, please
try upgrading your kernel to 2.6.31 (or 2.6.30 not bigmem) since UXA
will not work on your kernel.

Some 2.6.31-rc6 kernel packages are available at

the one you want there might be
   
linux-image-2.6.31-rc6-686-bigmem_2.6.31~rc6-1~experimental.1~snapshot.14136_i386.deb
