Can you reproduce with latest radeonhd driver and xserver-xorg-core
from experimental?

We need send your config and log anyway (the log from after the
freeze would be the best).

Also, when the freeze occurs, can you ping the machine? If so,
can you ssh and run gdb to find out what the server is doing?
