Bug#561331: running full-screen, Open-GL app crashes X server

I'm running Xorg from testing on a G4 Mac Mini (which has a builtin Radeon) 
and a DVI display. When running 'bloboats', which switches to fullscreen and 
uses Open-GL, the X-server crashes. There are two ways in which the crash 
occurs:

Variant A, without 'Option "SWcursor"'
In this case, after running bloboats, some memory corruption seems to happen. 
Moving any windows close to the lower edge causes some pixels to show up in 
different parts of the screen. This is mostly annoying and not so much fatal. 

I also used xmag to take a look at the damage, and what strikes me there is 
that it does display some damage but not the same damage as visible on screen.

Variant B, with 'Option "SWcursor" "true"'
In this case, the X server straightly exits, killing the whole session and 
dumps me back into KDM. Note that I initially only switched this on for 
testing, in order to try to find what causes above behavior, but it made 
things worse, but I can't tell if it actually runs stable otherwise.

Both crashes are easily reproducible. Anyway, see the attached configuration 
and logs and don't hesitate to ask if you need further info.
