Package: xorg
Severity: important

First time I installed lenny I had a garbled looking xserver on my Thinkpad A21p. "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" was no sollution, since it was changed not to configure any resolution or frequency data. There should be a fallback semi-automatic configuration-program to satisfy users with less experience in configuring the xorg.conf!

Thanks for the followup. It's still possible this was a bug in the r128
X driver, but as you don't have this hardware anymore I'm going ahead
and closing this.

Cheers,
