Hi! Okay, its broken as long as KDE 4.3.2/4.3.1 (kde-window-manager 4.3.2-1) OpenGL compositing is enabled. It works okay with no compositing and XRender compositing. Its not the mouse pointer itself, but the dancing animation on that that leaves trails. The X.org server reproducably crashes at latest when I start systemsettings. I also tried with EXA, no difference regarding the bug. I also tried with attached safe-fallback X.org conf, no difference either. I am also attaching kdm.log since it contains some hints about a leaked DMA object. Don't now whether its relevant tough. Well without compositing for now and with safe-fall back configuration it appears to work stable enough for now. 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 [Mobility Radeon 9600 M10] [1002:4e50] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) Subsystem: IBM Device [1014:0550] Control: I/O+ Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR+ FastB2B+ DisINTx- Status: Cap+ 66MHz+ UDF- FastB2B+ ParErr- DEVSEL=medium >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx- Latency: 66 (2000ns min), Cache Line Size: 32 bytes Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 11 Region 0: Memory at e0000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=128M] Region 1: I/O ports at 3000 [size=256] Region 2: Memory at c0100000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K] [virtual] Expansion ROM at c0120000 [disabled] [size=128K] Capabilities: <access denied> Kernel driver in use: radeonfb Ciao, -- Martin 'Helios' Steigerwald - http://www.Lichtvoll.de GPG: 03B0 0D6C 0040 0710 4AFA B82F 991B EAAC A599 84C7
