Bug#538131: Progress>?
Any progress with this? I am affected; it's an annoyance because every time I start a session compiz crashes and falls back to metacity;
then in fusin-icon I can set compiz to be the Window Manager and this works (most of the time!).
that's what keeps appearing in syslog:
