Bug#549085: xserver-xorg-video-intel: X server crashes with SDL application when no window manager is running

Indeed, it appears to be the same. However I have found and already sent some extra information and how to reproduce it easily. Namely, when the first X client that connected to the X server closes the connection, the crash happens.

If this first client was a WM, then terminating the WM crashes Xorg.
If this first client was xterm, then terminating xterm crashes Xorg.

I presume that SDL starts some auxiliary X connection that when it's closed, causes the crash.

Additionally, this bug is at least several months old over here.
