Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Version: 2:2.7.1-1

Version: 2:2.8.0-1

In that version of the driver, EXA was taking up too much memory so you
couldn't allocate your buffers, leading to server termination. In
2.8.0, all allocations for pixmaps are now dynamic (assuming you have
kernel 2.6.28 or newer), so this should be fixed.
