Yes, once we eliminated all the software issues, a physical issue
seemed very likely. :-)

Those kind of bugs can be the most annoying to run into, so I'm glad
you got it fixed.

Now that sounds truly bizarre. I can't think of any explanation for
that. If you want to pursue that further, you may want to open a new
bug report for that since I'm marking this one as closed now.
