Package: xterm Version: 4.1.0-13 Severity: normal xterm -fa adobe xterm: unable to open font "andale mono", trying "fixed".... The resulting xterm is anti-aliased, but the type is much lighter than before so I probably am not getting an anti-aliased adobe font any more. If you cannot reproduce this error message, please let me know if there is a way to discover what fonts are actually being used by xterm invoked as above. I first noticed this error this morning on any new xterms I invoked. (The old ones continued to have the dark typeface until I exited from them.) I suspect it is due to an apt-get dist-upgrade I did yesterday on my woody system (but I didn't keep good notes so I am not sure xterm was upgraded yesterday). A week or so ago I used the msttcorefonts package to install all the MS fonts, and I also made the resulting truetype directory accessible to xfs, but I don't know how that would suddenly start to affect my xterm fonts this morning.
