oups ! sorry, it seems that reportbug has automatically included into the mail some informations from the fglrx driver… which is the one I was using when I have done this report, because for now I cannot access my desktop with the free drivers.

However, the two Xorg.log I have attached seems to use the free drivers (radeon and radeonhd) and the only trace of fglrx I find in these files are:
Xorg.0.log.radeon:(II) Loading sub module "fglrxdrm"
Xorg.0.log.radeon:(II) LoadModule: "fglrxdrm"
Xorg.0.log.radeon:(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/linux//libfglrxdrm.so
Xorg.0.log.radeon:(II) Module fglrxdrm: vendor="FireGL - ATI Technologies Inc."

I resend you these two files in this mail.

I have also forget to mention that I have installed the package firmware-linux, to have 3D acceleration.

Should I test again, with the fglrx driver and the package firmware-linux desinstalled or it is not necessary ?

Adrien
