Bug#536382: xserver-xorg-video-intel: fails to run opengl apps with ssh X11 forwarding

Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Version: 2:2.7.1-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

I can't start glxgears of glxinfo from a remote machine and get the display on
my machine (intel) whereas it's work fine with an ati cards (ati or radeonhd).
The strace stops on "XFree86-DRI" line 317 (log attached). Sounds like a missing
or broken extension?
Everything works fine with non OpenGL apps like "xterm".

LIBGL_DEBUG changes nothing
goneri@gloria:~$ LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo
name of display: localhost:10.0
(frozen)

Cheers,

      Gonéri Le Bouder
