Package: xserver-xorg-core Version: 2:1.6.901-3 When trying to change screen resolution or rotation with xrandr on any monitor (either built-in or external) on my laptop xserver dies and then restarts with new session. Downgrading xserver-xorg-core to version 2:1.6.901-2 fixes the issue.
