Bug#528217: The problem is gone for me
Yesterday I could reproduce the behaviour after rebooting.
Today, I rebooted, aptitude update, aptitude upgrade, started OpenOffice
without a Document (from the KDE menu), stopped it, started OpenOffice from
Dolphin (clicking on the same .odt files as yesterday) - and it did not crash
the X server !
Today I upgraded these packages:
gstreamer0.10-alsa gstreamer0.10-plugins-base gstreamer0.10-x libcfitsio3
libglew1.5
libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 libgstreamer0.10-0 liblqr-1-0 libncurses5
libncurses5-dev
libncursesw5 linphone login ncurses-base ncurses-bin passwd
But anyway, X should not crash after:
[xkb] BOGUS LENGTH in write keyboard desc, expected 7344, got 7360
