Bug#517589: mouse can move into invisible areas

Package: libxrandr2
Version: 2:1.2.3-1
Severity: normal

I'm using LVDS (1280×800) and VGA (1680×1050) side by side. The
virtual screen has 2960×1050, so there is an ununsed Bermuda
triangle of 1280×250 below the lower Gnome panel. It seems, that
the mouse can move into that area, which makes me nervous, as I
can't see what the mouse is doing there. Dating other mice?
