Yes, you are right; this is the wrong thread for drivers other than intel. Sorry for disturbing... Only symptoms are the same, so I dared to ask here. Other people might find this thread when looking for the problem. Besides the nv driver has similar but other problems. nv seems to ignore the virtual settings completely.
