Bug#515840: Desktop is not using full screen after upgrade from etch to lenny

Tried replacing my "Monitor" section with

  Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "VGA"
    Option "Ignore" "true"
  EndSection

as per lenny release notes but the doesn't resolve the issue.
