To summarize, when libxi6 2:1.2.0-2 is installed:
* midori immediately crashes when it is started;
* iceweasel crashes as soon as some text is selected (not just
in iceweasel, but also in xterm, for instance).
But emacs22-gtk and liferea don't seem to crash.
