Package: x11-common
Version: 7.1.0-19

I'm running a minimalist Debian Etch in a chroot, and I'm trying to
install x11-common.

Setting up x11-common (7.1.0-19) ...
debconf: unable to initialize frontend: Dialog
debconf: (No usable dialog-like program is installed, so the dialog
based frontend cannot be used. at
/usr/share/perl5/Debconf/FrontEnd/Dialog.pm line 75.)
debconf: falling back to frontend: Readline
/etc/init.d/x11-common: line 20: /etc/default/rcS: No such file or
directory
invoke-rc.d: initscript x11-common, action "start" failed.
dpkg: error processing x11-common (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 x11-common
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

A "touch /etc/default/rcS" solved the problem.

This was fixed a long time ago, closing.
