Bug#512124: Ctrl-Alt keycombinations don't work

Version: 1:7.1.0-19
When i press Ctrl-Alt-keypadplus, or Ctrl-Alt-keypadminus,
X does not change to next resolution.
When i press Ctrl-Alt-Functionkey,
X does not switch to a virtual terminal.
To my xorg.conf, i explicitly added Option "DontZoom" "off",
but only difference this makes it that this option is now mentioned in /var/log/Xorg.0.log

The keyboard is standard (US layout), and the PC is standard (500 MHz pentiumIII)
and special keycodes worked well in previous Debian versions.
